Labs
Much work needs to be done here since it depends on the facilities at
schools. The ideal would be to have schools equipped with one or PC's
or Macs - with the ULI (Universal Lab Interface) from the Vernier
Co. There are many nice experiments one can do with the
ultrasonic motion detector and the force probe. A number of
experiment writeup exist.
We need to determine assessment of minimal lab work and
experimental skills students should acquire.
You may want to take a look at some of these labs the Honors
Students did before setting off on their longer-term projects:
