Title: Precision Measurements and New Physics

Abstract: Precision measurements of fundamental parameters have provided stringent tests of the Standard Model of elementary particle physics at about the +/-0.01% level.. Those tests probe theory at the quantum loop level, providing an interesting constraint on the as yet undiscovered but long anticipated Higgs boson remnant of electroweak symmetry breaking. They also constrain speculations regarding supersymmetry, technicolor and other New Physics scenarios. An up-to-date status report on such measurements and their implications will be given. Possible future improvements will be described.
