Homework

Homework will be due nearly every day. It is perfectly OK to collaborate on homework.

Please do write your solutions neatly. Homework with answers only and no work will receive no credit.

Homework assignments are listed on the monthly schedule pages on the due dates. Problems are assigned from the text and/or special problems will also be assigned.

Homework Policy

Homework must be deposited in the P221 slot in the gray cabinetry outside SW135 by 5:00 pm on the day it is due, which to following day the homework is assigned. For homework turned in one day late there will be a 30% penalty, and not credit will be given afterwards. Homework will be graded daily on a 10 point scale and returned during class within 1-3 days after it was turned in. Homework will be accepted one day late, but must be turned in to one of the AIs or Professor Szczepaniak if the AIs are not available before the same assignment is returned to your classmates. There will be an automatic deduction of 5 points for late homework. Homework will not be accepted more than one day late.

We will use the Oncourse system for recording homework, exam and lab grades. You will need your network username and password.
