  • I'll be in my office mon am, 5/9 from 9-10, if you want to come by and get your graded final. After that I'll give them to Donna Martin in SW129 and you can pick it up with her.

  • FINAL EXAM: Friday 5/6 12:30-2:30 in SW219.
  • HW#14 graded and handed back. HW#15 solutions posted on Homework Page . Be sure to do HW#15. You are likely to see a similar problem or 2 on final.
  • Office hours for finals week: Wed 5/4, 9-12. I'll have the projects graded and you current grade calculated. If you can make this time, send me email and we'll find another time.

  • No office hours on Wed 4/20 at 2:30pm. Will have them before and after class instead.
  • Course/instructor evaluations on Friday 4/22. Bring your comments and sharpened pencil!

  • Prof. Tayloe will be absent on 2/25,2/28. Prof. Urheim will be lecturing on friday and giving exam 2 on Monday. He has kindly agreed to hold office hours on friday 2/25 at 9-10am and 1:30-2:30pm in his office, SW238.
  • Tour of FNAL set for April 9, starting at 9am. Let me know if you want to go and we'll work out details.

    You'll also find 2 exams from P301f04 for practice.
    Additional good practice is the add-numbered problems from chapters 3-6.
  • HW#6 due today, 5pm. Solutions to be posted soon.
    If want to make sure you have your homework for the exam next week, make a copy as I am not sure I'll be able to get you graded HW back by friday.
  • Working on a tour of FNAL. Likely to be Saturday 4/9. Will finalize this soon. Watch this space!

  • Today (2/11/05) on Fresh Air (NPR program available at fm103.7, 12:30pm): Brian Greene, physicist from Columbia U, author of "The Fabric of Time", will discuss time, space, and other mysteries of the universe. Check it out!
