This lesson is
designed to be an introduction to a first year physics class. The school
will have a cosmic ray telescope built by students from that school as a part
of the Counting Cosmics 2001 project. The telescope will be used for cosmic
ray inquiry and will be used through out the school year as a research
connection with the content areas of a first year physics class. This
lesson will focus on cosmic rays, students doing real physics, display
and analysis of cosmic ray counts made by their cosmic ray telescope.
