Sunday 6/10/01:
Arrival @ about 7 p.m.
About 9 p.m. we had icebreaker games...Team tarp turn and Xen master.

Im behind the guy in red in the middle(Isaac).

Monday 6/11/01:
Started day @ 6:30....needed more sleep...must remedy tommorrow.
Rick lectured on the Standard Model...interesting on the surface...deeply complicated on the interior.
Theory group did calculations on critical angles of the detectors at given plate separation....saved data as spreadsheets on excel.
Due to conflicting requests I missed the discussion on solid angle...missed introduction of steradians....picked it up at Daves house later.
Emerged victorious at both crocquet and Uno @ Daves house....semi-victorious @ union pool hall.
Mr. Deirth brought his ps2 and we played it until midnight...so much for more sleep.

Tuesday 6/12/01:
Set alarm for 7 am....felt refreshed... we were supposed to leave early but some girls didnt get up on time.  Listened to a lecture that was more in depth on the standard model.  Later we attempted to calculate the allowance of photons into the PMT, and the number of electrons going into of the PMT.  Design changed to add a 3rd padle to the setup, because the solid angle is to wide and needed to be narrowed.  Mechanical and electrical teams complained.  Later we went to the wall climbing arena...$10 for a few hours of fun on ropes and walls...thouroughly exhausted..Deirth got out his Ps2 again but I didnt play this time because I went to bed earlier than everybody else...midnight.

Wednesday 6/13/01:
Got up @ 7...tired from wall climbing....pancake substitutes for breakfast...good thing for cereal...listened to discussion about the electronics and the other systems in the telescopes.  After lunch we discussed different experiments feasible for reports tomorrow.  My current duty is to create captions for the pictures of the calculations Evann, Jason and I made yesterday.  I got my Quarknet shirt today.  Evann and I finished the captions and submitted them to the web group.  Later we went to lasertag...very very cool.  Played 2 games...2nd highest in accuracy both times...back @ the dorms we watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Went to bed @ about 12:30.

Thursday 6/14/01:
Harder  than normal to get up today...effects of rock climbing and lasertag combined with less than normal sleep catching up with me. We listened to Rick give a lecture on the systems in the CRT.  He also outlined the format that the data file will take.  We also listened to Rick go over a slide show that someone else was supposed to do but they had a family emergency, the slide show was on cosmic rays in general and detection.  After lunch we continued work.....the focus of today was to hone in on and correct some bugs in our minimum shower energy equations.  We never did finish the minimum shower energy equation calculation...we ran out of time.....we did however get some of the data from last night graphed.  However we only got about 1/6 because the number of events overloaded  excel.  After the activities ended we went to the SRSC...Deirth had a bad experience but those of us with  John were ok.   After that we watched Gladiator, and ordered pizza, however thouhg I payed for some it was gone within 5 miniutes of arrival and i got the shaft.  I went to bed early after packing.
