- Astrophysics
The Astrophysics group research efforts include investigations of neutrino oscillations (MINOS) and dark energy (SNAP).
- Biophysics
The Biophysics group is currently investigating neurophysics, development, and models of cellular communication.
- Condensed Matter Physics
The Condensed Matter group focuses on novel materials, the behavior of waves in artificial structures and disordered materials as well as uses of neutrons for materials research (LENS).
- Elementary Particle Theory
The Theory group is currently focused on lattice guage calculations of QCD, violations of fundamental symmetries such as CPT, and new frontiers of particle physics.
- Elementary Particle Experiment
Members of the High Energy group are playing key roles in the D0 collaboration at Fermilab and ATLAS at CERN, and leading the GlueX/Hall D collaboration at Jefferson National Lab.
