There is a weekly homework assignment. The problems are chosen from the course textbook Nonclassical Physics by Harris. All problems assigned should be completed, though only some of them will be selected for grading.
Your homework papers are due each Friday. No late homework will be accepted, unless prior permission has been given. Homework papers may be handed in at the instructor's office (SW304) before 3:30 p.m., or deposited in the drop box outside of SW132 by 4:00 p.m.
See homepage menu for the weekly homework assignments. The homework assignment for each week will be posted there on the preceding Friday. Click on the Homework Assignment button in the homepage menu.
Solutions to the homework will be posted on the course web site. Access
may be obtained directly by clicking on the HOMEWORK-Solutions button
in the menu on the homepage. These files are in pdf-format. You should
be able to download them from computer terminals on the IU Bloomington
campus. Off-campus, you will need the
Adobe Acrobat Reader software
to do this -- the latter can be downloaded by you off the Web free of charge.
